Friday Harbor is more than a destination, it’s our home. It’s a special place to live, work and create. And a successful Friday Harbor is critical for the whole island. But too many of us are asking the same hard question: “Can I still afford to live here?” Housing costs keep rising and essential services are stretched thin. It's time for experienced, steady leadership.  Evan Perrollaz has over 20 years of leadership experience in senior living and healthcare. As the current Deputy Superintendent of San Juan County Public Hospital District No. 1, he’s led efforts to expand care on our island, including launching Village at Home for in-home support and helping transfer Village at the Harbor to public ownership, resulting in major wins for employees and low-income islanders.

He’s also a local business owner and active volunteer board member with groups like the SJI Food Coop, Island Artisans and the Cannery Village Homeowners Association. He understands the challenges our residents face because he lives them too.

Evan is running for Mayor to ensure that Friday Harbor remains a place where teachers, and other essential workers, young families, artists and seniors can thrive. That means taking action, first and foremost, on affordable housing, as well as responsible growth, while protecting the character and delicate ecosystem that make our town so special.

Evan is a community builder. He’s committed to transparent government where all voices in our community can be heard. Let’s build a future where everyone can stay, belong and flourish in Friday Harbor.
